Current measures in the Hijmans van den Bergh building
For your and our safety, we keep a meter and a half apart. Pumps with disinfectants are positioned at the entrance of the Hijmans van den Bergh building. In the teaching rooms there are all-purpose wipes with which you can clean your hands and surfaces in between.
Depending on the applicable guidelines, we adjust our measures on a regular basis. Keep an eye on this page for the most recent information.

Important
Face masks are mandatory in the Hijmans van den Bergh building and UMC Utrecht.
- Do you have symptoms that are consistent with the coronavirus? Do you have a housemate with symptoms? Or does the urgent self-isolation advice after a stay abroad apply to you? Then stay at home and do not come to our building or events on location.
- If you have symptoms yourself, get tested. More information on when to stay at home
- When you enter the building, you will be subjected to a health screening.
- Take your responsibility: keep a meter and a half apart, wash your hands regularly with soap, sneeze and cough in your elbow, and use paper handkerchiefs.
- Enter and leave through the entrance of the Hijmans van den Bergh building, Universiteitsweg. The main entrance of the UMC Utrecht is for patients and visitors only. In this way, the number of people entering and leaving can be spread more evenly across the various buildings.
- Follow directions for marked walking routes and other information in the building. At the lecture halls, lockers and coffee machines it is sometimes still too crowded. In order to protect each other's health, it is important to pay attention to this.
- Use the stairs as much as possible and keep to the right.
There are corona coordinators in the building to ensure that the above rules are complied with. Follow their instructions and respond to them in the same way you would like to be approached. Remember: the rules are for your safety and the safety of others.
