Biography
Rimke Vos obtained a Master's degree (cum laude) in Public Health (major movement science) from Maastricht University in 2005. In April 2006 she started to work as PhD student at the Juliana Children’s Hospital/ HagaHospital (The Hague). The PhD project ‘The effect evaluation of a family based multidisciplinary cognitive behavioural treatment in children with obesity’ was carried out in collaboration with the Departments of Pediatrics (Willem-Alexander Children and Youth Center) and Endocrinology & Metabolism of the Leiden University Medical Center. Thereafter, she worked as posdoc researcher and at the department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the VU University Medical Center (Amsterdam), as postdoc researcher at the department of Medical Decision Making at Leiden University Medical Center (Leiden), and as research coordinator, HagaAcademy, Hage Teaching Hospital (Den Haag). Since August 2013, she is appointed as assistant professor at Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, University Medical Center Utrecht (Utrecht).
