Biography

 

Alberto De Luca is a researcher at the Vascular Cognitive Impairment (VCI) group and the Image Sciences Institute (ISI) of the University Medical Center Utrecht. He studied at the University of Padova, Italy, where he received the BSc in Biomedical Engineering (2011), the MSc in Bioengineering (2013) and a Ph.D. degree (2017). Since February 2017 he is part of the PROVIDI Lab at the Image Sciences Institute.

Alberto's research focuses on diffusion magnetic resonance imaging methods and their application to patients with cerebrovascular disease and cancer. Alberto has previously received funding from the Italian Ministry of Health and the Kika Foundation, and has received the "Seal of Excellence" from the European Commission.
