Biography
Ishaan Bhat obtained his bachelor degrees in electrical engineering and physics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Goa, India in 2014. Following this, he worked at NVIDIA Graphics, Bangalore, India as a system architect until 2016. In 2018, he graduated from TU Eindhoven with a master degree in embedded systems, his graduation thesis dealt with the problem of evaluating deep generative models. In February 2019, he started his PhD position at UMC Utrecht supervised by dr. Hugo Kuijf and Prof. dr. Josien Pluim. His research topic deals with investigating the use of deep learning techniques on MRI data to provide treatment options for liver lesions
