Laboratory of Translational Oncology (LTO)
The Laboratory of Translational Oncology (LTO) is a specialized laboratory in which fundamental research on the molecular and cellular biology of cancer is closely connected to clinical research. Through this connection LTO aims to facilitate the clinical translation of fundamental research results, and to design translational side studies accompanying clinical trials. This creates a ‘translational research cycle’ in which fundamental research drives innovative trial design and data from clinical studies help shape the fundamental research program.
